Jake Nichols – Development Manager

Jake joined Kibo in 2022 as our Development Manager, and in this role makes sure Kibo has the resources it needs so our staff can accomplish their programing goals. Jake graduated from Pepperdine University in 2022 with a degree in International Relations and a minor in Nonprofit Management. While studying at Pepperdine, he was given the opportunity to study and travel through the Middle East, Europe, and Africa. This cultivated a love for international travel and a dream to find a job where he could work in an intercultural environment. Through his studies in Nonprofit Management he came into contact with some of Kibo’s core founders and was impressed to learn about Kibo’s holistic and sustainable approach to international development. Today he feels incredibly blessed to work for this same organization, and is proud to be a part of a team that crosses two continents with a shared goal to better the lives of those living in Uganda! When he is not raising money for Kibo, Jake enjoys Oklahoma State Football, bike riding, concerts, and exploring new places in the world.
