Ida Bazonoona – Program Manager, Community Empowerment
Ida is among the founding members of Kibo and the Source Cafe, and currently oversees the Community Empowerment Program. She visits villages to empower women, men and other disenfranchised community members and teaches and unifies communities through Bible lessons. She is a mother figure and mentor to many. Ida serves at the Jinja Church of Christ and has six children. Outside of work, Ida enjoys farming, serving as a women’s counselor in her community, attending parties and exercising every morning. Her favorite thing to do is sing at church!
