Harriet Kefeza – Division Manager, Healthy & Safe Kitchens and Community Health Education

Harriet joined our staff in 2013 when Kibo needed someone to do research for the WASH program. From there, she became part of our stove building team as a Program Manager. Now, as Division Manager, Harriet works with her Program Managers to construct program budgets and curriculum designs. Together they ensure that communities are being educated on their health in ways that will help them to thrive. Harriet also educates communities about the importance of sanitary kitchens and oversees the process of teaching them how to build stoves. She embodies a passion and enthusiasm that is felt by each person she meets. Harriet has two children and a university degree in Adult and Community Education. She loves small-scale farming, watching television, and counseling her children about school work and domestic chores.
