Abraham Mulongo – Program Manager, Mvule

Abraham was one of Kibo’s first employees, beginning in September 2006. He helped create the Mvule Project, which later evolved into the Mvule Community Development Program, one of Kibo’s cornerstones. Abraham oversees the Mvule program’s work in partner villages, including planting trees, helping communities write their own constitutions, and empowering communities to initiate their own economic projects. Abraham has four children and studied at Kampala University. He LOVES trees and is a great singer! He’s also a talented photographer and takes many of the pictures we share on social media. He is almost always smiling and enjoying life. In his spare time, Abraham enjoys preaching at the Jinja Church of Christ, helping to run Busoga Bible School, working in his garden, and visiting people in need.
